Today you will embark on a classic trip of the area which offers stunning panoramic views and a beautiful descent. The ascent takes about 4.5 hours, with an elevation gain of 1280m, and may require the use of ice axes and crampons for the last stretch of the ridge to reach the peak (optional). Alternatively, you can go on the Teleccio Pass excursion, which is just as beautiful and includes a 1100m elevation gain.

DAY 3

Short excursion and departure

Today you will embark on a shorter trip on the other side of the Vallone, skiing between the granite giants that characterise the skyline. The plan is to go on the Bocchetta di Monte Nero excursion, climbing up the glacier of Roccia Viva and crossing the western side of Monte Nero at the foot of Testa di Money. Return to Pontese for lunch or a light snack, before descending to the Teleccio dam and heading home.

The program is very flexible to take into account weather conditions, climbing level, and endurance of the group
