Overview
Join Snowbusters and Eskimo Cat Ski this winter for a unique 5-day tour combining ski touring and cat skiing in North Macedonia. During this experience, you will ski the best off-piste terrain around Popova Shapka, a ski resort in the Sar Mountains of North Macedonia. Your time in the mountains will be maximised through the use of the cat, which will drop you in remote areas everyday to skin/ hike up summits then ski virgin slopes, meeting you at the bottom to whisk you off somewhere new. Get ready to discover a truly off-the-beaten-track area, ski incredible lines, and (most importantly) have A LOT of fun!

Jany
Jany is a ski and rock climbing guide from the Czech Republic, and founder of Rockbusters and Snowbusters. He has been teaching skiing for over 20 years and spends most of his winters in search of demanding off-piste ski lines.
Adam
Born in a city but destined for the mountains, Adam has been skiing since a young age - first dabbling in ski racing before finding his passions in ski-touring and freeride. In addition to being a highly qualified mountain guide he's also a trained photographer, so get ready for some awesome action shots!
Dimitar
Born in Skopje and now living in the Mavrovian mountains of Macedonia, Dimitar lives and breathes skiing, climbing and hiking. He has been ski guiding since 2013 and is dedicated to developing the outdoor potential in Mavrovo.

Local ski hotel
The accommodation for this trip will be in a hotel with direct access to the slopes. Half board (breakfasts and dinners) are included. The hotel boasts a nice spa where you can relax and get a massage after a long day in the mountains.

Skiing skills
To get the most out of this trip, you should be confident skiing/ snowboarding black slopes. Although no previous touring/ freeride experience is required, this is highly recommended. A good level of fitness is desirable

What group size can I expect?
This trip is designed for groups of 8 to 12 people exclusively. Your best option is to get a group of friends together with a similar skiing ability so you can go on the same tours and make the most of the experience.
What equipment do I need to bring?
You will need to bring or rent the following:

- Avalanche set
- Headlamp
- Ski or snowboard clothing
